About Me

My name is Emilie and I live in Victoria, Australia. I am a mum to three beautiful children. My youngest is 4 years old when one day she called me Nurse Mummy. I had a giggle at the time, but then thought to myself, that is a fantastic name for a blog!

I had been toying with the idea of starting a health blog, but I had no idea where to start. Anyway, my daughter prompted me to look into it, and she is the reason I am here today.

A little about my professional background, I have been a registered nurse for 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Nursing (Monash University)Opens in a new tab., Masters of Advanced Nursing Practice (Deakin University),Opens in a new tab. and have just completed my Masters of Wound Care (Monash University).Opens in a new tab.

I currently work as a Clinical Nurse Consultant at a regional public hospital.  Helping people, showing empathy and positivity toward people from all walks of life is at the core of my being.

My aim for this blog is to write and collaborate with experts in the field to provide quality content that helps to promote and educate my audience around health and wellness.  A majority of the content is written by me and backed by valid research and journal articles.
